This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Install, integrate, and commission survey equipment owned by Ashtead Technology and clients on offshore vessels and client locations.
• Operate, monitor, and maintain deployed equipment throughout offshore projects to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose technical issues, perform first-line repairs when feasible, and liaise with Ashtead Technology's global workshops for additional technical assistance as necessary.
• Ensure all deployed equipment is operated and maintained in line with manufacturer guidelines, project specifications, and company protocols.
• Monitor and track deployed assets, keeping precise records of equipment configurations, maintenance activities, and any offshore system modifications.
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and maintenance of equipment while deployed to enhance reliability and reduce downtime.
• Prepare equipment for demobilisation, ensuring it is appropriately packaged for transport and that any damages or defects are reported accurately.
• Provide outstanding customer service by serving as the primary on-site technical representative for Ashtead Technology and fostering strong working relationships with clients.
• Complete project documentation, including timesheets, technical reports, and expense claims, accurately and promptly after each mobilisation.
• Proven prior experience in an Offshore Survey Engineer position.
• A qualification in Electrical/Electronics/Engineering Systems.
• Previous offshore work experience and current offshore survival accreditation, including a valid medical certificate.
