This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee safe and high-quality offshore maintenance operations across a fleet of vessels and operational wind farms, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and SQDC expectations.
• Manage all daily offshore activities across the fleet, ensuring effective planning, prioritization, and execution of operational work scopes.
• Serve as the primary operational contact for customers and key stakeholders, handling daily coordination, monthly reporting, and aligning on priorities, risks, and mitigation strategies.
• Direct and coordinate offshore teams, vessel operations, and service activities, ensuring efficient planning, resourcing, mobilization, and execution across all work scopes.
• Standardize vessel operations and offshore processes throughout the fleet to enhance consistency, efficiency, safety, and performance.
• Supervise production-based availability plans and operational strategies to maximize output, strengthen synergies with customers and GE, and enhance fleet performance.
• Ensure effective management of vessel readiness and offshore logistics, including technician rotations, material movements, access planning, and responses to weather or operational constraints.
• Track key performance indicators, operational performance, and availability metrics, ensuring transparent reporting, issue resolution, and timely escalation when necessary.
• Lead the execution of response plans, incident investigations, and corrective actions in accordance with Operator and GE policies.
• Advocate for continuous improvement through Lean principles, process standardization, lessons learned, and the creation of robust operating procedures.
• Assist in recruitment, competence development, authorization, and performance management for both technical and non-technical offshore positions.
• Work closely with engineering, HSE, marine coordination, supply chain, and customer teams to address issues, enhance processes, and support operational success.
• Aid in the development of training frameworks, Safe System of Work governance, and operational systems necessary for offshore wind maintenance.
• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or professional education/apprenticeship in a technical field with substantial professional experience.
• Extensive experience in offshore wind maintenance operations.
• Proven ability to work in a cross-functional, global environment, collaborating with remote teams as a strong team player capable of driving change and delivering results.
• Proficiency in the English language.
• Established experience in offshore wind operations.
• Highly motivated; a self-starter with strong leadership and communication abilities.
• High proficiency with software applications (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and other cloud-based platforms).
• Demonstrated capability to lead projects.
• Proven project management skills.
• Demonstrated experience in leading technician teams.
