This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.
• Accountable for various office responsibilities, including assisting with financial operations.
• Manage vendor invoices, ensuring precision, required approvals, and prompt payments.
• Reconcile purchase orders and receipts against invoices.
• Prepare and execute payments via check, ACH, or wire transfer.
• Maintain vendor information and respond to inquiries effectively.
• Aid in month-end closing procedures and accruals related to accounts payable.
• Create customer invoices and process payments accordingly.
• Oversee aging reports and conduct collection activities.
• Reconcile account balances and assist with general ledger entries.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to address accounting challenges.
• Facilitate internal and external audits.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience of 3 years).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or general accounting.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as Workday, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or NetSuite.
• Strong grasp of fundamental accounting principles and internal controls.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
