This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
β’ Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical, cognitive, and psychosocial capabilities.
β’ Collaborate with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to set therapy objectives.
β’ Create and execute personalized treatment strategies.
β’ Deliver therapeutic interventions aimed at enhancing independence in daily living activities.
β’ Utilize evidence-based practices, adaptive tools, and assistive devices.
β’ Provide education to clients, families, and caregivers about therapeutic methods and safety protocols.
β’ Facilitate coordinated holistic care alongside physicians, nurses, COTAs, and social workers.
β’ Keep accurate records of evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
β’ Engage in continuing education and professional development to remain current in the field.
β’ Uphold ethical and professional standards, ensuring confidentiality and respectful care.
β’ At least one year of experience delivering occupational therapy services in an adult home health environment.
β’ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
β’ Texas State License as an Occupational Therapist.
β’ Familiarity with Kinnser/Wellsky EHR.
β’ Experience utilizing communication applications such as Slack.
β’ Current CPR BLS certification.
β’ Capability to conduct comprehensive assessments, formulate treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions tailored to individual client needs.
β’ Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
β’ Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred or advantageous.
