Occupational Medicine Reviewer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Review medical records thoroughly

• Create succinct clinical summaries

• Deliver independent medical opinions addressing specific inquiries from clients

• Evaluate medical necessity, causation, work-relatedness, impairment, disability status, return-to-work recommendations, and the suitability of treatment

• Perform evidence-based clinical assessments

• Draft clear, detailed written reports

• Engage in peer-to-peer discussions when required

• Respond to client-specific inquiries related to occupational injuries, illnesses, and workplace health issues

• Utilize current clinical guidelines and standards of care for all evaluations

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree

• Board Certification in Occupational Medicine is preferred

• Valid and unrestricted medical license in Washington

• Active clinical practice or recent experience in the field of Occupational Medicine

• At least 5 years of clinical experience post-residency

• Capability to participate in mandatory orientation and training sessions

• Compliance with all relevant licensure, certifications, credentialing, and professional standards required for reviewer services
