Object Storage Product Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage and maintain the Render KV fleet effectively.

• Work closely with design, product teams, fellow engineers, and various cross-functional stakeholders.

• Assist in the development and enhancement of the Render KV product as it scales and grows in complexity.

• Engage in team planning, roadmapping, and setting objectives.

• Contribute to shaping the team culture and practices as the organization expands.

• Aid in the advancement of the KV product by introducing new functionalities.

• Participate in on-call duties alongside your team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of professional experience in software delivery. Bonus points for success at a small, fast-growing startup.

• Proven experience collaborating with product and design stakeholders.

• A strong sense of ownership and the capability to make practical decisions regarding your work.

• Comfortable working within a distributed system.

• Experience in operating a KV datastore at scale.

• Familiarity with modern tools for software building and deployment processes.

• Nice-to-haves: Experience in wearing multiple hats and working across various technology stacks, both collaboratively and independently.

• Solid understanding of web frameworks, APIs, and databases, along with experience in multiple programming languages.

• Familiarity with building for product-driven growth and modern enterprise audiences.

• Experience with any of the technologies utilized by the Render product: Go, Typescript, React, Kubernetes, Postgres, Terraform, Temporal.
