Obesity Medicine Triage Nurse

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide timely and insightful triage (through phone or messaging) to assist patients in making informed healthcare choices, employing critical thinking and clinical assessment abilities along with established protocols to ensure precise patient care.

• Engage proactively with providers and members of the care team to guarantee smooth coordination and prompt resolution of patient needs.

• Consistently deliver confidential, high-quality, stigma-free, person-centered care while ensuring an exceptional patient experience.

• Maintain thorough, timely, and legible medical documentation, ensuring the appropriate billing services related to encounters.

• Employ and support a comprehensive, software-driven clinical model that incorporates pharmacotherapy, nutrition therapy, health coaching, and remote physiological monitoring to assist patients with obesity and other metabolic conditions in achieving their weight loss and wellness objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• BSN with a minimum of 3 years of recent relevant experience as a Registered Nurse. Experience in obesity medicine and/or bariatrics is an advantage.

• Possession of either an active license in a compact state or an active unrestricted eNLC.

• Strong skills in communication, clinical assessment, and computer proficiency are essential.

• Proven excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Knowledge of the genetic, biological, environmental, social, and behavioral factors contributing to obesity and a comprehensive understanding of obesity treatment.

• Candidates must possess strong computer skills and exceptional phone skills for effective interaction with providers, patients, and administrators.
