This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Perform comprehensive, culturally sensitive virtual psychiatric evaluations and medication management sessions.
• Carry out biopsychosocial assessments centered on holistic care with precise diagnostic evaluations.
• Interact with patients via our collaboration portal.
• Work together with supervisors, colleagues, and on-campus treatment providers.
• Record clinical interactions to ensure effective care coordination.
• Collaborate with our care navigation team to assist students.
• Partner with campus care teams to develop long-term treatment strategies when necessary.
• Maintain a valid Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license in NY. Multi-state licensure is a plus, as we operate across all 50 states.
• Have at least 1 year of experience in an outpatient community mental health environment.
• Proficient in treating prevalent mental health issues among college-aged individuals, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, and substance use disorders.
• Familiar with culturally responsive treatment and experienced with diverse patient demographics.
• Capable of evaluating the urgency of escalating risk situations.
• Must have a quality video camera and a reliable internet connection to provide virtual care.
