NY Licensed Mental Health Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Provide high-quality, impactful virtual therapy through evidence-based methods including Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Action and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), among others.

• Leverage our advanced collaboration platform to connect with students, ensuring they receive the necessary support.

• Collaborate closely with campus treatment providers, supervisors, and colleagues to deliver integrated care.

• Keep accurate and timely records of all clinical interactions to maintain continuity of care.

• Work alongside our administrative support team to enhance the overall care experience for students, from initial outreach to resource provision.

• Engage with leadership during critical patient situations to secure optimal outcomes.

• Develop expertise in our distinctive care model, allowing you to effectively assist college students while continuously honing your therapeutic skills.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess active independent clinical licensure (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC) in New York. Multi-state licensure is a plus, as our services extend across all 50 states.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin is preferred.

• Capable of conducting comprehensive biopsychosocial intakes with precise diagnostic assessments.

• Skillfully integrate conceptual understanding with suitable treatment strategies.

• Proficient in treating a diverse range of students with respect and empathy.

• Effectively identify and manage escalating risk situations.

• Must have access to a laptop or desktop computer equipped with a quality video camera and a reliable internet connection to facilitate virtual therapy sessions.
