Nutrition Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Provide patient consultations through telehealth services.

• Collaborate with a diverse team that includes medical professionals and exercise physiologists.

• Deliver exceptional care and outcomes for patients by engaging with them both synchronously and asynchronously.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a 4-year degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, along with at least 1 year of experience in coaching lifestyle and habit modifications through nutrition and exercise.

• Candidates must either reside in the United States or be legally authorized to work in the U.S. (NPI required).

• A Bachelor's degree in Food Science and/or Nutritional Science is required.

• At least 1 year of experience in clinical nutrition as a Registered Dietitian, specifically with patients diagnosed with Diabetes or other metabolic conditions.

• Current registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) in good standing is essential.

• Familiarity with clinical competencies as per the Nutrition Care Standards set by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) is required.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.

• Strong proficiency and experience with medical technology, including electronic medical records (EMR) and mobile applications.

• Required skills include collaboration and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to manage a substantial patient load and engage across multiple platforms, both in-person and through applications.

• A strong ability to empathize and build connections with patients over a long-term basis is essential.

• Experience and comfort in using our proprietary technology application is preferred.

• Previous experience in a startup environment is a plus but not mandatory.
