Nutanix Architect

📋 Description

• Oversee the design and implementation of enterprise hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) and cloud platform solutions.

• Act as the main technical consultant for Nutanix and HCI-related projects.

• Facilitate architecture design, workshops, and discovery sessions with clients.

• Architect and deliver Nutanix solutions encompassing: AOS (Acropolis OS), AHV virtualization, Prism (Element/Central), Files, Objects, and Calm automation.

• Create target-state architectures, migration plans, and modernization strategies.

• Lead data center transformations, including transitions from legacy virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V to AHV), infrastructure consolidation, and refresh initiatives.

• Establish and execute high availability, disaster recovery, and data protection plans.

• Oversee deployment, configuration, and migration processes.

• Serve as an escalation point for intricate technical challenges and architectural decisions.

• Support pre-sales activities, including solution design, SOW creation, and client presentations.

• Generate high-quality outputs, such as architecture diagrams, design documents, and strategic recommendations.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8–12+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture or senior engineering positions.

• Extensive knowledge of Nutanix AOS, AHV, and Prism.

• Solid understanding of virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V).

• Proficiency in storage and compute architecture.

• Knowledge of networking within HCI environments.

• Proven experience leading enterprise infrastructure transformations and migrations.

• Excellent client-facing and communication abilities.

• Preferred: Nutanix certifications (NCP, NCM, NCA, etc.).

• Preferred: Experience with Nutanix DR solutions (Leap, replication).

• Preferred: Familiarity with automation and orchestration tools (Calm, APIs, scripting).

• Preferred: Exposure to hybrid cloud or multi-cloud integrations.

• Preferred: Background in consulting or professional services organizations.
