Nurse Practitioner – Weight Management, Metabolic Health

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Facilitate virtual consultations with patients (both synchronous and asynchronous, as necessary).

• Analyze patient intake documents, medical histories, and lab results.

• Assess medical necessity and prescribe treatment when clinically appropriate, adhering to state and federal regulations.

• Provide ongoing clinical supervision, follow-ups, and necessary adjustments.

• Accurately document all interactions, decisions, and prescriptions in the EMR system.

• Work collaboratively with care coordinators and internal teams to enhance patient adherence and outcomes.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant telehealth, prescribing, and documentation standards.

• Act as an engaged clinical member of LumiMeds’ PC group.

⛳️ Requirements

• MD or DO with a valid, unrestricted U.S. medical license.

• Board-certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.

• Eligible to provide telemedicine services in licensed states.

• Active, unrestricted NP license with prescriptive authority.

• Board-certified (FNP, AGNP, or equivalent).

• Comply with state requirements for telehealth practice.

• Licensed in multiple U.S. states (preference for 30+ state coverage).

• Prior experience in telehealth is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of evidence-based weight management and metabolic health.

• Excellent clinical judgment, documentation abilities, and attention to detail.

• Comfortable in a collaborative, remote-first work environment.
