Nurse Practitioner – Weekends, Evenings

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Conduct telehealth sessions during evenings and weekends in Virginia.

• Perform psychiatric assessments and evaluations as part of ongoing telemedicine services.

• Provide treatment to a varied demographic experiencing mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, and ADHD.

• Prescribe medications as necessary to alleviate mental health symptoms.

• Collaborate with clients to develop and refine care plans.

• Complete and/or administer relevant paperwork and assessment instruments.

• Follow Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines diligently.

• Engage with Regional Clinic Directors and staff regarding client care, programs, and services.

• Accept and provide treatment for ADHD clients upon completion of necessary training.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with board certification.

• A Master's degree in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in the state is required.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in psychiatry practice is necessary.

• Clinicians must hold a valid license and reside in the state where they will practice.

• Part-time positions require at least 15 hours of availability per week during evenings or weekends.

• Must be willing to treat clients aged 14 and older.

• Familiarity with AdvancedMD (AMD) EMR is advantageous.

• Three years of experience is preferred.

• Completion of in-house training on ADHD treatment standards, guidelines, and methods, followed by a brief examination is required.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hiring.

• This position does not qualify for employment visa sponsorship.
