Nurse Practitioner – Virtual Primary Care

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Performing thorough virtual evaluations, diagnoses, and evidence-based treatments for patients of diverse ages and backgrounds through text, phone, and video consultations.

• Overseeing and coordinating care for chronic health conditions.

• Offering preventive care, wellness counseling, and health education to encourage overall well-being.

• Creating clear and effective encounter visit notes that demonstrate strong medical decision-making, comprehensive differential diagnoses, and well-structured care plans.

• Collaborating closely with physicians under the necessary collaborative agreements for states that mandate it.

⛳️ Requirements

• Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

• Minimum of 5 years of primary care experience, including care for adults and pediatrics.

• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner licenses in at least 7 states, including:

• - At least 2 of the following: California, Texas, or Florida.

• Preference will be given to candidates with active licenses in: California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Washington, or Utah.

• Willingness to secure additional state licenses upon hiring.

• Telehealth experience is highly preferred.

• Strong communication, clinical judgment, and patient engagement skills.

• A self-driven and independent work ethic, with a robust ability for teamwork and collaboration.

• Proficiency in EMR systems is preferred.

• Outstanding organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to manage time effectively in a remote work setting.

• Ability to adapt to evolving technologies, including AI-driven tools and digital platforms.
