Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant – Flexible Schedule

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Rhode Island.

📋 Description

• Perform virtual assessments of patients and gather medical histories.

• Diagnose and oversee the management of obesity and associated chronic conditions.

• Prescribe and oversee medications following clinical protocols and supervision guidelines.

• Create, implement, and modify customized treatment plans.

• Track patient progress, safety, and responses to treatment.

• Provide education to patients regarding the medical and behavioral aspects of obesity management.

• Address clinical concerns and modify care as needed.

• Work in collaboration with physicians, dietitians, health coaches, care coordinators, and operational partners.

• Engage in case reviews with interdisciplinary care teams.

• Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation within the EHR.

• Adhere to telehealth, prescribing, and compliance standards.

• Promote long-term behavioral change through a technology-enabled care model.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid PA-C or NP license and DEA in good standing (mandatory).

• NP board certification or graduation from an accredited PA program.

• Must be a resident of Rhode Island and possess an active Rhode Island license.

• Eligibility for telehealth in designated states.

• Experience in primary care, obesity medicine, endocrinology, or chronic disease is preferred.

• Prior telehealth experience is advantageous.

• Strong clinical judgment skills.

• Exceptional communication skills with virtual patients.

• Familiarity with protocols and supervision requirements.

• A collaborative, team-oriented mindset.

• Proficient in EHR and telehealth platforms.

• Access to reliable internet and a private, HIPAA-compliant workspace.
