Nurse Practitioner – National After-Hours Team

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.

📋 Description

• Deliver telephonic care and provide clinical guidance during after-hours.

• Offer after-hours care primarily through virtual means (mainly via phone) to elderly residents across various states.

• Act as the primary support for residents and facility personnel during after-hours.

• Utilize Curana’s telephonic platform to facilitate care coordination among facilities, hospitals, and clinics.

• Conduct thorough assessments and document interactions in the electronic medical record (EMR).

• Implement Curana’s clinical protocols to ensure safe and effective treatment is provided in place whenever feasible.

• Engage in mandatory education and training sessions to remain updated with the latest standards of care.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's Degree in Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner.

• Possession of an active, unrestricted license in Louisiana.

• Additional ongoing licenses in Texas, Tennessee, Mississippi, Arkansas, Alabama, Kentucky, Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, and New Mexico are preferred.

• National certification as a Nurse Practitioner (ANP, FNP, or GNP).

• Capability to secure DEA licensure / Prescriptive Authority.

• Experience in managing acute and chronic diseases.

• Clinical experience in adult, family, or geriatric care.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner.

• Ability to establish a collaborative practice agreement, if required by your state(s).

• Availability to work scheduled shifts in alignment with scheduling policies.

• Competent computer skills, including proficiency in documenting medical information using written and electronic medical records.
