Nurse Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Engage with new and existing patients through telephone and video consultations, offering education, clinical advice, and support.

• Oversee the ongoing treatment plans for patients, including evaluating their responses to treatments.

• Prescribe suitable medications and modify treatment plans as clinically necessary and within your professional scope.

• Assess presenting symptoms and either escalate or refer patients to the relevant medical practitioner or pharmacist.

• Work in collaboration with medical practitioners, pharmacists, allied health professionals, and our broader Clinical Operations team.

• Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation while adhering to clinical governance and code-of-conduct standards.

• Provide insights and feedback to continuously enhance our clinical systems, workflows, and overall patient experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• A completed Master of Nursing and a current endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner with AHPRA.

• A current PBS prescriber number, or the capability to obtain one.

• Recent experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a primary healthcare setting.

• Strong clinical judgment along with a dedication to safe, evidence-based, and patient-centered care.

• Confident, clear, and empathetic communication skills, especially in telephone and video consultations.

• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary clinical environment.

• Proficiency in navigating digital clinical platforms, documentation systems, and telehealth technologies.

• A proactive mindset towards identifying opportunities to enhance patient care, systems, and processes.
