Nurse Implementation and Optimization Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Assist in the implementation processes associated with the launch of new ER and urgent care facilities in collaboration with top healthcare systems.

• Document observations in detail and suggest solutions to identified issues.

• Facilitate performance enhancements in partnership with facility personnel and providers.

• Resolve operational challenges by troubleshooting alongside onsite staff.

• Provide guidance and support to nursing staff at the site level using the Intuitive Operating Model Guide.

• Relay the performance status of new site operations to essential stakeholders.

• Conduct analyses following implementation and develop recommendations based on insights gained.

• Lead pre-opening training sessions for staff, encompassing a “Day in the Life” overview.

• Guide teams during onsite operational efficiency “Deep Dive” projects.

• Create, develop, and deliver engaging educational materials and presentations to aid training and implementation efforts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited nursing school.

• Holds an ADN, BSN, or MSN degree.

• Possesses an unrestricted registered nurse license.

• Current ACLS certification is required.

• Current PALS/ENPC certification is required.

• Current BLS certification is required.

• At least 5 years of clinical experience is necessary.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in the ER is required.

• Experience in freestanding ER and urgent care settings is preferred.

• Proficient in point of care laboratory testing, ED radiology testing, and associated modalities.

• Familiarity with ED flow management is essential.

• Prior experience as an ER Clinical Manager, Charge Nurse, or in other relevant leadership roles is advantageous.

• Relevant experience with Intuitive Health may be considered in place of certain experience criteria, pending recommendation from the candidate’s direct supervisor.

• Internal candidates must comply with the Employee Transfer Policy, maintain good standing, and demonstrate strong performance in their current position.
