Nurse Case Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Independently evaluate the medical condition of injured workers and create a personalized treatment plan in collaboration with healthcare providers.

• Coordinate and participate in medical appointments as necessary to ensure seamless care, offer support, and align all stakeholders with the treatment plan.

• Maintain prompt and professional communication with all key parties, including injured workers, medical professionals, employers, and insurance/claims representatives.

• Work with employers to assess, suggest, and implement modifications to job duties based on medical restrictions and functional capacity evaluations.

• Interpret and clarify complex medical instructions from physicians and therapists to injured workers to ensure complete understanding and adherence.

• Prepare and submit comprehensive and accurate monthly progress reports, documenting all time and activities in line with company standards and regulatory guidelines.

• Build and sustain strategic business relationships to promote proactive engagement.

⛳️ Requirements

• A valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license is required.

• Certification as a Case Manager (CCM), Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN), or Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN) is highly preferred.

• Previous experience in medical case management is mandatory.

• Direct experience in workers' compensation, occupational health, or disability case management is strongly preferred.

• Strong comprehension of medical terminology, clinical practices, and workers' compensation regulations.

• Proven ability to exercise independent clinical judgment and make decisions that influence case outcomes.

• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Capability to travel locally for field appointments (valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required).

• Multilingual proficiency is an advantage.
