This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Comply with Sentrex Policies and Procedures.
• Offer comprehensive device training to patients and/or their designated care providers through virtual platforms.
• Provide patient education regarding disease states, treatment expectations, medication storage and administration, adherence, and safety considerations.
• Conduct follow-ups with patients and/or designated care providers to evaluate their comfort with injection techniques, address any concerns, and ensure the continuity of therapy.
• Act as the primary clinical escalation point for Care Navigators within the program.
• Evaluate clinical issues, provide guidance, and escalate to the Lead Nurse Field Supervisor when necessary.
• Assist Care Navigators with complex reimbursement cases, therapy interruptions, side effect reporting, and challenges with adherence.
• Ensure accurate assessment and documentation of clinical information and program systems.
• Confirm that all patient interactions are documented accurately, comprehensively, and in accordance with program protocols.
• Stay updated on program workflows, reporting requirements, and therapeutic training updates.
• Establish strong relationships with patients and/or designated care providers, serving as a supportive and dependable clinical resource throughout their treatment journey.
• Contribute to program improvements, pilot initiatives, or process enhancements as directed by the Lead Nurse Field Supervisor.
• Participate in team meetings and virtual coaching sessions.
• Prepare for and attend extensive, specialized training sessions for specific therapies provided by the pharmaceutical team.
• Attend key patient and stakeholder meetings, along with relevant conferences, to support high-quality disease education, product information, and case management services.
• Collaborate with physicians’ offices, pharmacies, and clinic solutions to ensure comprehensive and coordinated services to patients and/or designated care providers.
• Engage in ongoing internal and/or external continuing education activities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by your Manager.
• Must be a Registered Nurse in good standing with the College of Nurses in their respective province.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience.
• Experience in immunology, rheumatology, or dermatology is an asset.
• Background in patient education, injection training, or Patient Support Programs is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to overcome barriers and enhance patient care processes.
• Capability to manage virtual patient interactions and handle case escalations with confidence.
• Exhibits strong customer service skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with healthcare professionals, patients, and stakeholders.
• Highly collaborative with effective and practical communication skills.
• Proven ability to thrive in a team environment.
• Bilingual in English and French is an asset.
