Nuer English OPI/VRI Interpreter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Sudan.

📋 Description

• Respond to calls in a courteous and professional manner

• Always be ready to take notes during conversations

• Familiarize yourself with the specific terminology used in the healthcare sector

• Ensure all messages are conveyed accurately and in full

• Deliver the highest standard of customer service while interpreting

• Facilitate effective communication between Limited French Proficient individuals and clients by providing precise and comprehensive interpretation

• Participate in internal professional training programs

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in both English and French

• Over 1 year of experience in telephone interpretation

• Strong understanding of medical terminology

• Knowledge of legal terminology is advantageous

• Possession of international certifications in the healthcare field is a plus (e.g., PICSI, ALTA, HIPAA, etc.)

• High school diploma in your primary language

• High emotional intelligence and appreciation for diverse cultures

• Excellent communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention skills
