
Nuclear Supplier Quality Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• Ensure compliance, safety, and performance of suppliers involved in producing critical components for Masoneilan valves utilized in nuclear applications.
• Evaluate, qualify, and oversee suppliers in accordance with nuclear standards (RCC‑M, ESPN, ISO 19443, ASME III).
• Perform system, process, and product audits focusing on nuclear safety and industrial performance.
• Establish, communicate, and review qualification criteria in collaboration with engineering, quality, and procurement teams.
• Confirm the conformity of materials, processes, and controls (CMTR/3.1, NDT, ITP, hold points/witness points) and ensure proper tracking of corrective actions.
• Examine and approve metallurgical documentation, including chemical analyses, mechanical properties, toughness, hardness, corrosion, and validate welding process/operator qualifications (QMOS/DMOS).
• Oversee and verify compliance of non-destructive examinations (RT, UT, PT, MT, VT) in line with relevant codes.
• Investigate metallurgical non-conformities and deviations, lead problem-solving initiatives, and implement effective corrective actions.
• Foster a culture of safety, stringent document control, and regulatory compliance among suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Possess an engineering degree (metallurgy, mechanical, materials, quality) with demonstrated experience in supplier quality or nuclear quality assurance.
• Strong understanding of nuclear codes: RCC‑M, ESPN, ISO 19443, ASME III, ISO 9001.
• Metallurgical knowledge (carbon steels, stainless steels, special alloys) and expertise in special processes (welding, foundry, forging, heat treatments).
• Proficient in NDT (RT, UT, PT, MT) and advanced interpretation of mechanical drawings.
• Familiar with EDF requirements or other international operators.
• Detail-oriented, independent, analytical, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Fluent in English and open to traveling up to 50% of the time.
