📋 Description

• Engage in discussions with language models regarding reactor operation scenarios and theoretical questions in nuclear engineering.

• Ensure the accuracy of facts and the soundness of logic.

• Record reproducible error traces.

• Document failure modes to enhance model reasoning.

• Propose enhancements for prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.

• Assist in creating high-quality training data for AI-driven scientific discovery and education.

⛳️ Requirements

• Expertise in nuclear engineering with a focus on reactor physics, radiation transport, nuclear fuel cycle analysis, thermal hydraulics, reactor safety, nuclear materials, radiation shielding, and nuclear instrumentation.

• Proficiency in neutron moderation, reactor core design, radiation detection techniques, nuclear waste management, probabilistic risk assessment, and nuclear system modeling.

• Strong metacognitive communication skills and the ability to clearly demonstrate your reasoning process.

• A master's degree or PhD in nuclear engineering or a closely related discipline is preferred.

• Experience with peer-reviewed publications, practical reactor research, exposure to nuclear facilities, or computational modeling projects indicates suitability for the role.
