NSAH Support Specialist – Saturday, Sunday, Monday 11:00 PM ET–7:00 AM ET

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Provide reliable and high-quality assistance to individuals contacting the National Sexual Assault Hotline.

• Handle incoming crisis-intervention phone calls and online chat inquiries.

• Offer prompt and accurate support to users of the NSAH.

• Stay informed and comply with RAINN's and NSAH's policies and procedures.

• Oversee incoming crisis-intervention calls and chat sessions.

• Support semi-annual audits of resource databases through call reviews.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be proficient and fluent in English.

• Fluency in Spanish may be necessary for specific positions.

• Must successfully complete a typing assessment with a minimum score of 35 WPM.

• A minimum of one (1) year of experience in social services, customer service, or a related field that involves direct client support or crisis intervention is required.

• Familiarity with Google Workspace applications (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms) is essential.

• Should be comfortable discussing topics related to sexual violence.

• Must be adept at using instant messaging platforms and managing phone communication.
