This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Collaborate with insurance producers and General Agent partners to create precise insurance quotes, plan comparisons, and client-ready proposals.
β’ Assist in the preparation and delivery of proposal materials, ensuring they align with carrier guidelines and meet client needs.
β’ Support pre-sale and renewal processes by coordinating the collection of data and submission timelines.
β’ Monitor and track agency and producer licensing across various states.
β’ Coordinate the applications, renewals, and continuing education requirements for licensing.
β’ Aid producers in preparing for and scheduling licensing exams.
β’ Ensure producers have the necessary access to systems and carriers, including onboarding them to carrier portals, quoting tools, and internal systems.
β’ Maintain accurate records of licensing and access while ensuring ongoing compliance with state and carrier requirements.
β’ Establish and nurture relationships with insurance carriers and partners.
β’ Manage the processes for carrier appointments, including submissions, follow-ups, and obtaining approvals.
β’ Coordinate the onboarding requirements for carriers, including contracting, portal access, and necessary documentation.
β’ Act as a point of contact for any carrier-related operational inquiries.
β’ Track and manage carrier commission structures and payment schedules.
β’ Develop and oversee commission projections and reporting.
β’ Reconcile commission payments to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies with carriers.
β’ Provide internal stakeholders with commission-related insights and reporting.
β’ Design, document, and implement scalable workflows for licensing, quoting support, carrier management, and commissions.
β’ Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure compliance across the agency.
β’ Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and risks; proactively implement solutions to enhance accuracy and scalability.
β’ Operate with a high level of autonomy to create structure, promote accountability, and deliver consistent results.
β’ 3β6+ years of experience in insurance operations, brokerage support, or agency administration is preferred.
β’ Experience in managing licensing and compliance across multiple states.
β’ Familiarity with commission structures, reconciliation processes, and reporting.
β’ Experience in onboarding users to carrier portals, quoting tools, and internal systems.
β’ Proficiency in CRM systems and Excel (advanced skills are preferred).
β’ Strong understanding of insurance products, quoting processes, and carrier structures.
β’ Proven ability to build and implement processes in a startup or dynamic environment.
β’ Possess a builder mindset: Capable of creating structure in the absence of it; thrives in situations of ambiguity.
β’ Ability to manage multiple workflows with accuracy and responsibility.
β’ Takes initiative and drives results independently of established processes.
