This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Issue, maintain, and expedite purchase orders for materials related to NPI, prototypes, and engineering builds.
• Monitor deliveries and proactively address delays that may jeopardize program milestones.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Project Management throughout the NPI lifecycle to ensure the timely availability of materials and components.
• Source innovative component solutions across electronics, sheet metal, displays, cables, shielding, and PCBs.
• Identify, assess, and qualify new suppliers.
• Work with Strategic Sourcing on category strategies, pricing, and preferred supplier agreements.
• Translate BOM and specification requirements into sourcing needs in conjunction with Engineering.
• Assist in design-for-cost and design-for-supply-chain considerations.
• Retrieve and manage fabrication, Gerber, and BOM data from PLM systems for new-build sourcing and ECOs.
• Handle supplier communications, RFQs, samples, and lead-time commitments.
• Track and report on NPI procurement status, supply risks, and material readiness.
• Support production-level buying, planning, and MRO purchasing activities.
• Maintain purchase order, pricing, and delivery information in NetSuite.
• Monitor and escalate supply issues that could impact product launch schedules.
• Assist in cost-reduction, dual-sourcing, and supplier-consolidation initiatives.
• Comply with Ezurio quality and safety systems and standards.
• Prior experience in purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain, ideally within new product development or NPI programs.
• Engineering background, technical degree, or equivalent hands-on experience is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with electronics manufacturing in an OEM setting.
• Working knowledge of electronic components, sheet metal, displays, cables, shielding, PCBs, and their sourcing and manufacturing processes.
• Hands-on experience with PLM or engineering document management systems such as Arena, Agile, Up Chain, or similar.
• Experience in retrieving and managing fabrication, Gerber, and BOM data with version control.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across functions.
• Capability to manage multiple concurrent NPI programs and adapt to shifting priorities.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting BOMs, engineering drawings, and component specifications.
• Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems; NetSuite is preferred.
• Ability to define problems, gather data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions (P/D/C/A).
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and disciplined follow-up.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain, preferably in electronics manufacturing or an OEM environment.
• Experience in supporting NPI or new product development programs is preferred.
