
North American Sales Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Lead and cultivate the North America Sales Team, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and the delivery of innovative, dependable solutions.
• Establish priorities, offer guidance, and create an environment that enables team members to excel and contribute at their highest potential.
• Propel sustainable, profitable business growth throughout North America.
• Enhance customer satisfaction, boost sales team engagement, and implement effective go-to-market strategies.
• Mentor sales leaders and cross-functional heads to outline country-specific strategies and areas for improvement.
• Optimize gross margin through strategic product mix management and operational cost efficiency.
• Perform regular assessments with country sales leaders regarding sales performance metrics.
• Engage in global key account strategies and assist Global Account Managers in executing account plans.
• Collaborate with Sales Operations to introduce CRM-enabled sales management processes.
• Continuously assess processes to identify opportunities for improvements in efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Bachelor’s degree in Science, majoring in Semiconductor, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
• At least 8 years of demonstrated success as a regional sales leader within North America.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience overseeing multi-functional teams as a manager of managers, with direct P&L responsibility.
• At least 3 years of experience in global account management.
• Proficient in English with outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Skilled in CRM tools; experience with Salesforce.com is strongly preferred for performance and forecasting management.
• Strong capabilities in strategic thinking, planning, and execution.
• Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and negotiation skills.
• High energy level, team-oriented mindset, and ability to perform effectively under pressure.
• Self-motivated, decisive, proactive, open-minded, and detail-oriented.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and to travel internationally as needed.
• Travel: 50-75%.
