This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Drive consistent double-digit annual net revenue growth in the chemical sector through individual sales efforts focused on subscription services, particularly in North America for new accounts.
• Create and execute segment-specific sales strategies and plans aimed at enhancing revenue growth and profitability, which may include price increases, especially in areas where we are perceived as undervalued.
• Share insights with colleagues during regular sales meetings to foster overall improvement in team sales performance.
• Partner with the global sales manager to define and implement a comprehensive sales plan for North America.
• Work alongside our business intelligence consultants to formulate expansion strategies for Platinum accounts, based on market insights.
• Collaborate with revenue colleagues in the chemical vertical as necessary.
• Effectively articulate the company's value proposition, technology, and processes in industry settings, including conferences, trade shows, and trade association meetings, featuring public presentations.
• Collect customer and market feedback, synthesizing it into product development recommendations, and communicate customer issues internally as required; act as the “voice of the chemical customer” for ResourceWise operations and executive management.
• Meet established requirements and targets, not only in sales but also regarding KPIs, outbound reach, and pipeline management.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues on cross-territory and cross-product opportunities, particularly in the Renewable Fuel and Low Carbon feedstock markets.
• Over 5 years of experience in the chemicals industry with established contacts within the sector (with experience in plastics, injection moldings, coatings, epoxy resins, and polyester industries being a plus).
• Demonstrated success in consultative and business-to-business sales with both new and existing clients.
• Proficiency in the following areas: account acquisition, value-based selling, account management, sales presentations, contract negotiation, and team leadership.
• Strong skills in relationship management and selling to senior business managers and influencers, including challenging existing customer approaches to business intelligence.
• Ability to comprehend and convey customer needs, market dynamics, industry trends, and competitive threats within the sector.
• Understanding of fundamental principles regarding the use of business intelligence, including leveraging market information to enhance business performance through market segmentation and targeting, positioning, competitive analyses, and strategy.
• Exceptional verbal and interpersonal communication skills, including the capability to create and present sales materials.
• Strong written communication skills, including the ability to draft reports and other correspondence, as well as assist in generating content for marketing and public relations initiatives.
• A growth mindset, with a desire to enhance sales skills, business and industry knowledge, and a willingness to adapt approaches based on results and feedback from clients and colleagues.
• Willingness to travel at least 25% of the time to meet clients in support of business growth.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
