This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive North America field events strategy to boost brand visibility and achieve quantifiable business objectives.
• Create and execute tailored marketing initiatives aimed at generating demand, leads, and enhancing the sales pipeline within designated regions.
• Foster collaborative relationships with essential internal stakeholders (including regional sales teams, marketing, content, product, and client success) as well as external partners to organize and execute impactful events that align with business objectives.
• Plan and manage a diverse array of events, ranging from intimate executive dinners to larger multi-city roadshows, ensuring each event has clear goals, tracking, and measurable outcomes.
• Oversee event execution, encompassing budgeting, marketing before and after events, logistics, vendor coordination, and post-event evaluations for regional events.
• Monitor key event metrics for North America events, such as attendance figures, leads generated, opportunities and pipeline created, and client feedback to assess event effectiveness.
• Analyze event performance metrics and KPIs, delivering actionable insights to stakeholders to foster ongoing improvements.
• Utilize company websites, online content, industry insights, and new technologies to improve client experiences and enhance event effectiveness.
• Over 5 years of experience in managing field or corporate events within a technology, software, or e-commerce organization, with a focus on North American events.
• Prior experience in events and field marketing specifically within the e-commerce industry, emphasizing engagement with e-commerce audiences.
• Proven experience in leading and executing industry events comparable to Shoptalk, NRF, or eTail.
• Successful track record in owning and managing event budgets of varying scales and complexities.
• Demonstrated experience in planning and executing events with well-defined budgets, objectives, and measurable KPIs.
• Strong grasp of core marketing metrics and their relevance in assessing event success and the impact of field marketing.
• Proficient with event management tools and platforms such as Asana, Marketo, Cvent, Salesforce, HubSpot, and virtual event solutions.
• Exceptional project management, communication, and organizational abilities, with keen attention to detail and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
• Proven capability to work collaboratively with senior cross-functional stakeholders, including Sales and Client Success teams, to synchronize marketing efforts with broader business goals.
