NodeJS Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

• Craftable software focuses on systems that demand quality, reliability, and scalability in a highly transactional setting.

• Engage in the implementation and development of concepts such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, Cloud Services, Search Engines, NoSQL, Object-Oriented Programming, Distributed Message Queuing, Infrastructure as Code, Machine Learning, and Containers.

• Collaborate within a team to provide valuable functionality by utilizing Agile principles and methodologies like SCRUM and Kanban boards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of practical experience with NodeJS.

• Strong command of JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, SOLID principles, and the characteristics of high-quality code.

• Experience with Single Page Application Frameworks (e.g., Angular or React+Redux) is advantageous.

• Proficient with SQL engines (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Oracle) and document-based databases.

• Knowledge of how to incorporate Large Language Models into the Software Development Lifecycle, with a proven ability to critically analyze, guide, and evaluate tool outputs.

• Fluent in both English and Portuguese — in writing and speaking — as you'll be using both languages daily.
