Node.js Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain scalable backend services utilizing TypeScript and Node.js

• Engage in the migration of applications and services from on-premises infrastructure to AWS

• Create and uphold serverless solutions that adhere to cloud-native best practices

• Implement integrations and processing workflows for accounting, taxation, payments, and transaction data

• Collaborate closely with Product, QA, and Engineering teams to deliver top-notch features

• Write and maintain automated and unit tests using Jest

• Participate in code reviews, advocating for engineering best practices and maintainable design

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance application performance, reliability, and security

• Ensure traceability and auditability across business processes and generate accounting/tax files

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of hands-on development experience with Node.js and TypeScript

• Practical familiarity with AWS services such as Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, and S3

• Demonstrated experience in designing and developing serverless architectures

• Extensive experience with the Serverless Framework

• Background in automated testing using Jest

• Strong understanding of event-driven architectures and common integration patterns

• Experience in Agile environments and active participation in sprint ceremonies

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a commitment to code quality

• Language proficiency: Spanish — native; English — intermediate
