Node.js Developer, Mid-level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop and maintain back-end applications.

• Design and enhance REST APIs and microservices.

• Implement integrations between corporate systems and distributed applications.

• Analyze and resolve bugs to ensure the stability of solutions.

• Support the evolution, optimization, and upkeep of existing applications.

• Collaborate on defining and implementing best practices in development.

• Create services using Node.js and TypeScript.

• Work with data persistence in both relational and non-relational databases.

• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of application architecture and performance.

• Engage in technical reviews, testing, and validation of deliverables.

• Utilize version control for code to facilitate collaboration in development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in back-end development with Node.js.

• Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript.

• Familiarity with Express and/or NestJS.

• Experience in developing REST APIs.

• Understanding of microservices architecture.

• Knowledge of MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.

• Experience with SQL Server.

• Familiarity with Git/GitLab.

• Understanding of system integrations.

• Knowledge of architectural patterns for distributed applications.

• Experience troubleshooting and resolving incidents in applications.

• Preferred: Familiarity with RabbitMQ.

• Preferred: Experience with Swagger/OpenAPI.

• Preferred: Knowledge of automated testing.

• Preferred: Experience with React or React Native.

• Preferred: Understanding of BFF (Back-end for Front-end) architecture.

• Strong problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to work independently and manage one's own time effectively.
