Node.js Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Develop, enhance, and sustain scalable, high-performance back-end applications.

• Design, implement, and uphold robust and secure RESTful APIs.

• Ensure overall code quality by adhering to industry best practices, optimizing performance, and writing clean code.

• Collaborate with front-end and cross-functional teams to integrate services and define data architectures.

• Actively participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, estimation, and core technical discussions.

• Efficiently troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex backend technical challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 to 5 years of experience in backend development.

• Strong proficiency in Node.js and ExpressJS.

• Extensive expertise with relational databases (SQL).

• Demonstrated experience in designing, building, and documenting scalable RESTful APIs.

• Familiarity with containerization technologies, particularly Docker (highly valued).

• In-depth understanding of backend software architecture patterns.

• Experience with Git and collaborative version control workflows.

• Proficiency in English (both written and spoken), suitable for international settings.
