Node.js Back-End Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Serve as the technical lead for a squad within a fintech environment;

• Design the solution architecture for the credit engine initiative;

• Oversee the implementation of new platforms;

• Create backend solutions that prioritize quality and scalability;

• Offer technical guidance within an agile framework, advocating for best practices;

• Facilitate the resolution of complex issues, including researching solutions and performing technical validations with the team;

• Develop Proofs of Concept (PoC) to test software architectures;

• Implement microservices and complete components, inclusive of instrumentation and deployment in cloud environments (AWS);

• Encourage the use of AI tools to enhance delivery speed and boost team productivity.

⛳️ Requirements

• Expertise in development with Node.js;

• Proven experience in technical leadership within an agile setting;

• Advanced skills in problem-solving and validating technical solutions;

• Familiarity with frameworks such as Express, Fastify, or NestJS (preferably NestJS);

• Advanced understanding of event-driven architecture;

• Practical, advanced experience with AWS;

• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases;

• Awareness of design patterns and best practices (Clean Code, SOLID, DRY, KISS);

• Experience in unit testing, integration testing, and code quality analysis (e.g., SonarQube);

• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (Grafana, Splunk, Datadog, among others);

• Experience in building and consuming REST APIs;

• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform in both development and production settings;

• Knowledge of messaging systems (Kafka, Amazon SQS, and/or RabbitMQ);

• Advanced experience with GitHub;

• Excellent skills in communication, organization, and collaboration;

• Experience with AI productivity tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, ChatGPT, among others);

• Experience in Java development (a plus);

• Familiarity with Generative AI and autonomous agents (a plus).
