NOC Monitoring Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Oversee the data center environment and coordinate resolution teams to handle contingencies as required, ensuring the uninterrupted availability of IT services;

• Record incidents in the company's systems and monitoring tools, specifying the nature of the issue (system, network, or other technological contexts) to accurately document and archive incidents in the control systems;

• Implement workaround solutions for contingencies in any environment following the provided guidelines and adhering to established problem-resolution protocols;

• Elevate incidents in accordance with contingency response procedures to ensure they are directed appropriately to the relevant support teams;

• Generate reports on indicators and metrics set by the Coordination team, producing data that informs the strategy for Incident and Problem Management.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma; completed or ongoing technical/vocational training in a technology-related area;

• Fundamental understanding of networking concepts (routers, TCP/IP, links, switches, etc.);

• Familiarity with operating systems: Linux, Windows, UNIX;

• Basic knowledge of ITIL and COBIT frameworks;

• Willingness to work a 12x36 shift schedule;

• Additional technology-related courses or certifications will be considered an advantage for candidates.
