This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Oversee network infrastructure, systems, and applications utilizing a variety of monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, Zabbix).
• Detect, troubleshoot, and resolve network issues, escalating complex cases to senior engineers when required.
• Address alerts and incidents according to established SLAs and priority levels.
• Conduct root cause analysis on recurring incidents and implement preventative strategies.
• Record all incidents, actions undertaken, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Ensure network availability and performance across enterprise infrastructure.
• Carry out regular health checks on network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless controllers, and load balancers.
• Monitor bandwidth utilization and metrics related to capacity planning.
• Execute network modifications during scheduled maintenance periods.
• Keep network documentation and diagrams up to date.
• Oversee server performance, disk space, and application availability.
• Perform basic system administration tasks on both Windows and Linux servers.
• Supervise backup systems and confirm the successful completion of scheduled backups.
• Collaborate with vendors and service providers for issue resolution.
• Provide timely status updates to stakeholders during incidents.
• Create and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
• Participate in shift handover meetings to ensure operational continuity.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with both technical and non-technical personnel.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in network operations or NOC.
• Proficient in incident management and escalation handling.
• Experience in coordinating with field technicians and dispatch operations.
• Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools and systems.
• Familiarity with working in a 24/7 operational environment.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation capabilities.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Capacity to remain composed under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Preferred: CCNA, CCNP, Ruckus Certified, Aruba Certified, Meraki Certified, or other networking-related certifications (CompTIA Network+, CWNA, Fortinet NSE).
• Must be willing to work onsite.
