This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee and sustain all software products and the production environment utilizing available tools; provide documentation for any process modifications and updates in format.
• Manage all NOC-owned tools and applications, including scripting, customizations, report creation, alert adjustments, automation, and ongoing maintenance.
• Reduce risks and vulnerabilities related to system security and potential business disruptions within the company's infrastructure.
• Actively engage in disaster recovery and business continuity planning (BCP) activities.
• Manage all NOC-owned tools and applications, encompassing scripting, customizations, report generation, alert modifications, automation, and maintenance.
• Create and maintain process documentation (knowledge base).
• Handle user/system-related incident management and resolutions, collaborating with various IT teams, Incident Managers, maintaining business communications, and reporting to IT Senior Leadership.
• Provide mentoring and training to team members.
• Maintain regular attendance with a full-time schedule of at least 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week.
• Exhibit strong communication skills, including public speaking, proficient business writing, process documentation, and knowledge base article creation.
• Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Required: 2-5 years of experience in a Network Operations Center (NOC), applications, and related technologies.
• Preferred: At least 1 year of experience with CI/CD integration.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working closely with DevOps teams.
• Knowledge and Skills: Familiarity with SolarWinds, PRTG, Splunk, App Dynamics, ServiceNow, ExtraHop, Incident Management, communication tools, and EverBridge.
• Experience with CI/CD integration.
• Monitor alerts in collaboration with DevOps.
• Proficiency with other monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, ScienceLogic, OpsView, BMC Helix, etc.).
• Experience with other log monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of F5 and load balancers.
• Familiarity with firewall, router, and networking equipment.
• Experience with enterprise-level processes and escalations.
• Basic scripting or coding skills in Python, Java, Perl, C, BASH, Shell, and hold ITIL Foundations certifications (V3 or V4).
• Understanding of Data Center fire life systems, CRAC/HVAC units, UPS systems, and Data Center generators.
