Senior Network Operations Technical Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Peru.

📋 Description

• Independently strategize, outline, and execute network infrastructure projects and operational enhancements from start to finish.

• Establish and uphold standards, runbooks, and best practices for Network administration across all supported platforms.

• Proactively identify and suggest enhancements to Network management processes, tools, and architecture.

• Provide technical guidance to the Network Operations team, consisting of approximately 6 members.

• Ensure the stability, availability, performance, and ongoing improvement of the global network infrastructure.

• Support and coordinate network operations across Europe, Asia, and the Americas.

• Act as the technical escalation point for critical incidents, perform root cause analysis, and engage in complex troubleshooting.

• Enhance and automate operations.

• Work closely with other technical teams and management stakeholders to ensure seamless and aligned operations.

• Establish and advocate for operational standards, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Oversee and optimize network monitoring, observability, and management tools.

• Assess new Network technologies, versions, and configurations to enhance efficiency and mitigate operational risk.

• Contribute to automation efforts related to provisioning, patching, monitoring, and routine maintenance tasks.

• Provide On Call support.


⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in network operations within intricate, multinational settings.

• Strong technical leadership abilities and mentoring experience with a team of network professionals.

• Broad technical perspective and sound judgment in managing distributed network environments.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of effectively engaging with both technical teams and management.

• Ability to thrive in a global, multicultural environment across different regions and time zones.

• A proactive approach focused on operational excellence, standardization, and continuous improvement.

• Automation and AI-oriented mindset.

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in Network engineering/administration within enterprise environments.

• Proven experience with Cisco Technologies (CCNP Certification and/or equivalent knowledge).

• Strong skills in Solarwinds.

• Excellent communication skills to report status, risks, and proposals to a diverse range of stakeholders.

• English: Professional working proficiency (Written & Spoken)— required for daily communication across global teams.
