New Ventures Analyst – Mid-level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Automate repetitive tasks for gathering, consolidating, and updating data and reports from acquired entities, identifying bottlenecks and suggesting enhancements.

• Gather, organize, and analyze data from both internal and external sources, ensuring the quality and consistency of deliverables.

• Perform quantitative and qualitative analyses, market research, benchmarks, and business diagnostics to aid leadership decisions.

• Assist in the creation, monitoring, and development of KPIs and OKRs for portfolio companies, aiding leaders in defining, tracking, and reviewing objectives.

• Develop and maintain portfolio monitoring dashboards and reports featuring operational and financial KPIs.

• Aid in the creation of Excel models and analyses to assess scenarios, impacts, and opportunities.

• Contribute to the structuring of business challenges, formulating hypotheses, and crafting recommendations.

• Assist in preparing presentations and executive materials for leadership forums, C-level executives, and the Board.

• Collaborate with various departments to gather information, validate assumptions, and track strategic initiatives and projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in advanced Excel/spreadsheets, including complex formulas and pivot tables.

• Familiarity with BI tools such as Looker, Power BI, Metabase, or Databricks.

• Experience with automation and/or data analysis tools, including SQL, Python, Apps Script, or no-code platforms.

• Excellent communication and synthesis abilities, with a talent for creating data-driven narratives.

• Background in corporate settings, consulting, business planning, finance, market intelligence, project management, or analytical domains.

• Preferred: experience in automating processes with generative AI, such as Claude and n8n.

• Preferred: experience in consulting, M&A, corporate finance, startups, or data teams.

• Preferred: knowledge in financial modeling, encompassing P&L (income statement), cash flow, and valuation.

• Availability for an 8-hour workday, from Monday to Friday.
