This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Promote Acadia products to healthcare professionals (HCPs) both in-person and virtually, delivering clinical, disease state, and reimbursement information in a compliant and customer-centric approach.
• Create and implement a territory business plan aimed at achieving or surpassing sales targets, utilizing market data, customer insights, and quarterly action plans.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with HCPs, including key opinion leaders, advocacy groups, and other healthcare stakeholders.
• Address customer inquiries, concerns, and objections by employing advanced dialogue and selling techniques.
• Customize approved sales materials, clinical reprints, and brand resources to address specific customer requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., managed markets, operations, sales training, marketing) to provide integrated solutions.
• Offer expertise on product pricing, reimbursement, and specialty distribution channels, serving as a liaison between customers and the Company for access-related matters.
• Diligently track and report sales activities, business expenses, and customer interactions in a timely manner.
• Represent Acadia at conferences, exhibitions, and training events; participate in national, regional, and local meetings as necessary.
• Mentor and train new sales specialists as required, and contribute to cross-functional projects and strategic insights from the field.
• A bachelor's degree is required, preferably with a focus in the life sciences.
• To qualify for the Sales Specialist role, a minimum of 3 years of sales experience is needed, including at least 1 year in pharmaceutical or other related healthcare sales, with a preference for neuroscience experience.
• To qualify for the Senior Specialist level, at least 8 years of healthcare sales experience is required, including a minimum of 2 years in complex or account-based selling environments.
• To qualify for the Executive level, a minimum of 12 years of healthcare sales experience is required, with at least 3 years in complex or account-based selling environments.
• Proven advanced selling skills, leadership capabilities, and strong business acumen are essential.
• Demonstrated success in influencing diverse HCP audiences across various care settings.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills are required.
• Ability to work independently, adapt to change, and consistently deliver high results.
• Must reside within the territory (or within 30 miles of its border) and hold a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Willingness to meet travel requirements, including significant driving and overnight stays, as well as air travel as necessary.
• Compliance with vaccination requirements for access to HCP offices, long-term care facilities, and medical conferences is mandatory.
