This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Conduct proactive outreach to healthcare professionals regarding product access, on-label information, and established patient care guidelines.
• Engage customers utilizing virtual and digital tools, directing them to colleagues such as MSLs as necessary.
• Facilitate speaker programs and organize local provider groups to share experiences and outcomes.
• Elevate opportunities, feedback, and insights from the local market to the Area Business Lead.
• Utilize competitive data and business reports to monitor progress and identify opportunities within the territory.
• Establish immediate priorities for the territory business plan.
• Educate office staff on payer guidelines and reimbursement processes.
• Compliantly utilize promotional materials.
• Leverage market and industry knowledge to address objections and influence prescribing behaviors.
• Identify professional groups and network to access potential key opinion leaders.
• Build relationships with office and practice staff, focusing on patient health.
• Provide accurate information and follow through to add value to accounts.
• Conduct balanced office calls and sales presentations using approved marketing materials and technical references.
• Demonstrate knowledge of products and competitors to assist healthcare providers in improving patient outcomes.
• Coordinate with Medical, Market Access, Patient Support, and other cross-functional colleagues in accordance with appropriate guidelines.
• Report directly to the Area Business Lead.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical or medical device sales.
• 4 or more years of experience in a sales role with healthcare providers.
• Must live within a commutable distance of 50 miles from the primary city in the sales territory.
• Previous cross-functional experience in commercial life sciences or a related field.
• Experience representing multiple products is preferred.
• Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment undergoing transformation.
• Proven success in coaching, training, and mentoring peers or others.
• Commitment to ethical business practices and awareness of regulatory standards.
• Capability to execute business activities in line with company policies and guidelines.
• Ability to assimilate and communicate complex clinical and product information.
• Familiarity with territory analysis, business planning, competitive data, and business reports.
• Knowledge of payer guidelines and reimbursement processes.
• Proficiency in using approved promotional materials and technical references.
• Skill in overcoming objections and influencing prescribing behaviors.
• Ability to establish relationships with healthcare office and practice personnel.
• Competence in product and competitor knowledge.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional Medical, Market Access, and Patient Support teams.
