This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Perform proactive outreach to healthcare professionals regarding product access, on-label information, and established patient care protocols.
• Engage with customers using virtual and digital tools, directing them to colleagues such as MSLs when necessary.
• Organize and facilitate speaker programs.
• Coordinate local provider groups to discuss experiences and outcomes with regional and local leaders.
• Elevate opportunities, feedback, and local market insights to the Area Business Lead.
• Inform local strategies and business objectives.
• Utilize competitive data and business reports to monitor progress and identify territory opportunities.
• Establish immediate territory priorities and develop business plans.
• Educate office staff regarding payer guidelines and reimbursement processes.
• Make use of promotional materials and internal ecosystem support resources.
• Address objections and influence prescribing behaviors during office visits.
• Network with professional organizations to gain access to potential key opinion leaders.
• Foster relationships with office and practice personnel.
• Provide accurate information and value to customer accounts.
• Conduct balanced office visits and sales presentations utilizing approved marketing materials and technical references.
• Collaborate with Medical, Market Access, and Patient Support colleagues.
• Report directly to the Area Business Lead.
• At least 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical or medical device sales.
• Must live within a 50-mile commuting distance from the primary city in the sales territory.
• Previous cross-functional industry experience within commercial life sciences or a related field.
• 4 or more years of experience in a sales role with healthcare providers, ideally managing multiple products.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment undergoing transformation.
• Demonstrated success in coaching, training, and mentoring peers or others.
• Commitment to ethical business practices and a solid understanding of regulatory standards.
• Capacity to execute business activities in compliance with company policies and guidelines.
• Proficient in assimilating and communicating complex clinical and product information.
• Understanding of territory and business conditions that influence sales outcomes.
• Ability to leverage competitive data, business reports, sales data, and promotional budgets.
• Capability to educate office staff on payer guidelines and reimbursement processes.
• Proficient in utilizing promotional materials and technical references.
• Strong product knowledge of your own offerings and competitors.
