This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Oversee the regional sales team by attracting, nurturing, and retaining exceptional talent.
• Offer strategic guidance and performance coaching to attain team excellence.
• Facilitate team growth and guarantee effective onboarding of new members.
• Propel the regional execution of sales strategies to achieve or surpass sales goals.
• Formulate focused strategies for the psychiatric and neurological markets.
• Recognize regional opportunities and eliminate obstacles to team success.
• Encourage innovative sales techniques and best practices.
• Examine sales data and market trends to guide strategic decisions.
• Hold the team accountable for the implementation of sales strategies and attainment of objectives.
• Regularly accompany each account specialist in the field to observe and mentor their performance.
• Provide ongoing performance feedback and development opportunities.
• Efficiently manage regional budgets and expenditures.
• Ensure adherence to Neurocrine policies, FDA regulations, and industry standards.
• Maintain transparent communication between field teams and headquarters.
• Build and sustain relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals.
• Engage with local professional and patient advocacy organizations.
• Collaborate with pharmacies and payers to enhance market access.
• Coordinate with marketing, training, sales operations, and other departments.
• BS/BA degree AND a minimum of 8 years of sales experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry, including at least 3 years of first-line sales management experience typically gained through progressively responsible sales roles.
• Proven success in building teams OR a Master's degree preferred AND at least 6 years of relevant experience as stated above.
• OR a PhD AND a minimum of 4 years of experience as described above.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Intellectual curiosity and the ability to question the status quo.
• Capable of leading through uncertainty and providing the team with directional clarity rather than seeking perfect answers.
• Familiarity with best practices in functional disciplines and associated business concepts.
