NeuroPsych Account Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Accountable for a designated geographic area and the effective promotion and growth of Neurocrine products.

• Cultivates and nurtures long-term relationships with physicians and other clients for targeted accounts within their assigned region, representing Neurocrine brand(s) and their approved indications.

• Facilitates product acceptance and growth through focused education and strategic account management.

• Implements territory sales strategies to achieve or surpass objectives through both in-person and virtual communications.

• Identifies and tackles territory-specific opportunities and challenges to product success.

• Efficiently manages promotional resources and budget allocation.

• Establishes and sustains relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers (Psychiatrists, Neurologists, NPs, PAs), clinical staff (RNs, LPNs, PharmDs), opinion leaders, advocacy organizations, community mental health clinics, long-term care facilities, and local/regional payers and pharmacies.

⛳️ Requirements

• BS/BA degree in science or a related field AND a minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial pharma/biotech or a related domain, including 3+ years in specialty pharmaceutical or LTC, Psychology, or Neurology sales experience is highly preferred.

• Experience with close-door or specialty pharmacy distribution is strongly preferred.

• Background in psychiatry, neurology, or antipsychotic medications is strongly preferred.

• Proficiency with business systems, salesforce automation platforms, and other business intelligence tools (e.g., Salesforce.com, Oracle database, SAP, Business Objects, COGNOS, QlikView, Veeva, etc.) OR a Master's degree in science or a related field AND 2+ years of similar experience noted above.
