This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Responsible for managing a designated geographic territory while promoting and expanding Neurocrine products.
• Develops and nurtures lasting relationships with physicians and other customers for key accounts within the assigned territory.
• Represents Neurocrine brand(s) along with their approved uses.
• Informs external stakeholders such as physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and case managers about the advantages of our product(s).
• Facilitates product acceptance and growth through targeted educational initiatives and strategic account management.
• Implements territory sales strategies to achieve or surpass objectives via both in-person and virtual communications.
• Identifies and tackles territory-specific opportunities and challenges affecting product success.
• Effectively manages promotional resources and budget allocations.
• Cultivates and maintains relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers (Psychiatrists, Neurologists, NPs, PAs), clinical staff (RNs, LPNs, PharmDs), influential opinion leaders, advocacy groups, community mental health clinics, long-term care facilities, and local/regional payers and pharmacies.
• Establishes strong communication with internal teams, including managed care, marketing, patient access, medical science liaisons, and medical communications.
• Adheres to the highest ethical standards, including FDA regulations and the best practices of the pharmaceutical industry.
• Maintains a full field presence Monday through Friday, with flexibility for occasional evening and weekend events.
• BS/BA degree in science or a related field AND a minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial pharma/biotech or a related field, with at least 3 years in specialty pharmaceutical or long-term care, Psychology, or Neurology sales experience being highly preferred.
• Experience in close-door or specialty pharmacy distribution is strongly preferred.
• Background in psychiatry, neurology, or antipsychotics is highly desired.
• Familiarity with business systems, salesforce automation platforms, and other business intelligence tools (e.g., Salesforce.com, Oracle database, SAP, Business Objects, COGNOS, QlikView, Veeva, etc.)
• OR
• Master's degree in science or a related field AND 2+ years of relevant experience as described above.
