NeuroPsych Account Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Responsible for managing a designated geographic area and successfully promoting and expanding Neurocrine products.

• Develops and nurtures long-lasting relationships with physicians and other clients for targeted accounts within their territory, representing Neurocrine brand(s) and their approved uses.

• This position plays a vital role in educating external stakeholders such as physicians, nurses, medical assistants, case managers, and others about the advantages of our products.

• Facilitates product acceptance and growth through focused education and strategic account management.

• Implements sales strategies for the territory to meet or surpass objectives through both in-person and virtual communications.

• Identifies and tackles territory-specific opportunities and challenges that may affect product success.

• Efficiently manages promotional resources and budgets.

• Establishes and maintains relationships with key stakeholders including healthcare providers (Psychiatrists, Neurologists, NPs, PAs), clinical staff (RNs, LPNs, PharmDs), key opinion leaders, advocacy organizations, community mental health clinics, long-term care facilities, as well as local and regional payers and pharmacies.

⛳️ Requirements

• BS/BA degree in a scientific discipline or a related field AND a minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial pharma/biotech or a related area, with at least 3+ years in specialty pharmaceutical or long-term care sales, Psychology, or Neurology strongly preferred.

• Experience in close-door or specialty pharmacy distribution is highly desirable.

• Background in psychiatry, neurology, or antipsychotic medications is strongly preferred.

• Familiarity with business systems, salesforce automation tools, and other business intelligence platforms (e.g., Salesforce.com, Oracle database, SAP, Business Objects, COGNOS, QlikView, Veeva, etc.) OR a Master's degree in a scientific discipline or related field AND 2+ years of comparable experience as noted above.
