This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Drive product acceptance and growth through focused education and strategic account management.
• Implement territory sales strategies to achieve or surpass objectives via in-person and virtual communications.
• Identify and tackle territory-specific opportunities and challenges impacting product success.
• Manage promotional resources and budget effectively.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with healthcare providers, clinical staff, key opinion leaders, advocacy groups, community mental health clinics, long-term care facilities, payers, and pharmacies.
• Establish communication channels with managed care, Marketing, Patient Access, Medical Science Liaisons, and medical communications teams.
• Educate physicians, nurses, medical assistants, case managers, and other external stakeholders about product advantages.
• Adhere to FDA guidelines, pharmaceutical industry best practices, company values, and compliance policies.
• Maintain a full field presence from Monday to Friday, with flexibility for occasional evening or weekend events.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in science or a related field with a minimum of 4 years of commercial pharma/biotech or relevant experience.
• Over 3 years of experience in specialty pharmaceutical or LTC, Psychology, or Neurology sales is highly desirable.
• Experience with close-door or specialty pharmacy distribution is strongly preferred.
• Background in psychiatry, neurology, or antipsychotic treatments is strongly preferred.
• Alternatively, a Master’s degree in science or a related field with 2+ years of similar experience is acceptable.
• Familiarity with business systems, salesforce automation platforms, and business intelligence tools such as Salesforce.com, Oracle, SAP, Business Objects, COGNOS, QlikView, and Veeva.
• Knowledge of best practices within the functional discipline and related business concepts.
• Strong understanding of healthcare regulatory and enforcement landscapes.
• Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales objectives and achieving launch success in complex settings.
• Ability to lead and engage in cross-functional teams effectively.
• Strong computer skills and a working knowledge of business systems.
• Proficiency with sales platforms and business intelligence tools.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Exceptional analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
