This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.
• Foster the adoption of HPE Cybersecurity solutions within mid-to-large enterprise accounts.
• Develop and oversee the sales pipeline while identifying and nurturing leads for new business opportunities and account growth.
• Work collaboratively with HPE Networking account managers, solution architects, and various cross-functional teams.
• Identify new business prospects and spearhead cybersecurity initiatives.
• Assess competitor activities and effectively communicate HPE’s unique value proposition.
• Build consultative relationships with clients, including engagement with C-level executives.
• Assist in meeting quota goals and contribute to go-to-market strategies for Cybersecurity and Networking solutions.
• Collaborate with system integrators and resellers to broaden market presence and enhance deal momentum.
• Lead renewal and expansion efforts for service contracts.
• Coordinate sales support activities across internal teams and stakeholders.
• Influence customer buying strategies and cultivate demand for cloud and security services.
• A minimum of six (6) years of progressive experience in technology sales.
• At least four (4) years dedicated to networking or security solutions.
• Proven track record of achieving sales quotas in complex customer settings.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
• Must reside within the Chicago or Wisconsin region.
• Willingness to travel to customer locations in Illinois and Wisconsin regularly, with up to 50% travel required.
• Familiarity with sales methodologies.
• Strong understanding of networking and cloud security trends, including SD-WAN, Zero Trust, CASB, and FWaaS.
• Demonstrated capability to identify opportunities, propose customized solutions, and successfully close consultative sales.
• Knowledge of customer financials, business models, and growth drivers.
• Comprehensive understanding of industry-leading SASE solutions and their competitive positioning.
• Awareness of partner ecosystems and collaborative go-to-market strategies.
• Effective and persuasive communication skills with both technical and executive audiences.
• Ability to manage negotiations, resolve conflicts, and align stakeholders effectively.
• Understanding of revenue, margins, TCO/ROI, and business-case development.
• Proficient in pipeline forecasting and territory management.
• Strong organizational skills, prioritization abilities, and deadline management.
