Network Security Specialist, Bilingual

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, maintain, and manage network security infrastructure components.

• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for security platforms, including firewalls and associated technologies.

• Execute operational tasks such as configuration modifications, incident resolution, and infrastructure updates.

• Assist in cybersecurity projects and engage in technical deliveries related to network security initiatives.

• Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and service partners to address infrastructure and security-related challenges.

• Maintain and revise technical documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.

• Participate in an on-call support rotation (approximately one weekend every six weeks) to ensure production support coverage.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient/Fluent in English.

• Extensive hands-on experience in network security engineering.

• Strong understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, SSL/TLS).

• Demonstrated experience (5+ years) with Palo Alto Networks firewalls.

• Experience in supporting corporate security infrastructure within L2/L3 operational frameworks.

• Capacity to perform tasks independently in a production support environment.

• Familiarity with security processes, change management, and technical documentation.

• Excellent communication skills to engage with technical teams and stakeholders.

• Experience with corporate firewall and network security technologies.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, PCNSA, PCNSE, CISSP).
