Network Provisioning Engineer – Security Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the technical elements involved in integrating Akamai Security Solutions, which includes configuration, debugging, documentation, testing, and go-live processes.

• Analyze customer traffic and systems while tailoring Akamai security solutions to resolve customer security challenges.

• Execute BGP FlowSpec, ACL design, traffic baseline profiling, GRE/IPsec tunneling, and perform network topology assessments.

• Confirm that anti-DDoS solutions are accurately configured and provisioned for clients.

• Work closely with cross-functional project teams to define project scope, establish timelines, develop technical solutions, and assist with ongoing implementation efforts.

• Develop innovative security solutions catering to a global clientele.

• Engage in continuous training programs to enhance skills.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Internet technologies such as TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, DNS, and web servers.

• Experience in managing and troubleshooting Cisco and Juniper routers and switches.

• Familiarity with network protocols like GRE/BGP.

• Experience in a customer-facing capacity.

• Understanding of the consulting process to ensure client success.

• Demonstrates proactivity, urgency, and eagerness to learn.

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

• Takes accountability as a team member.

• Proficient in written, verbal, and presentation communication.

• Capable of conveying complex technical information in English.
